Minnie Mouse Party Decoration Ideas

Is your little girl mad about Minnie Mouse? Is she asking you to make her a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party?

This week is Minnie Mouse week.... so I decided to write about “How to decorate a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party” and make a remarkable day for your daughter.

First of all, get all your guests into the party spirit by sending out Minnie Mouse themed invitations! You can buy them online, print them yourself or make your own invitations using a photo of the birthday girl, some scrapbook paper and lovely ribbon.

An amazing Minnie Mouse decoration can be done combining some or all of the following colours: White, Red, Pink, Yellow and Purple.

You can decorate the room by making lots of flower shapes with pink and yellow latex balloons.

You can also put Minnie and Mickey cut-outs on the walls all around the room and stretch crepe streamers across the ceiling and tie more balloons in corners. These will give you a nice atmosphere to the room and your guests will be very impressed!

Decorate the main table with white, red or pink tablecovers and give it some style with splashes of confetti. We recommend you to have 2 separate tables, one to put your cake with plates, cups and sweets and the other one with your party bags.

Cups, plates and Napkins on the kid’s table should be according to the Minnie Mouse theme. If you are working on a budget, you could buy Minnie Mouse plates and cups and colour match the rest of the decoration.

You can also put a pair of Minnie Mouse ears beside each plate and tie a flower or heart shape balloon to each chair.

Don’t forget to get a nice Minnie Mouse matching banner to complement your decoration. You can use it as a table runner to decorate your main table, hang it on the wall above the table, or you can put it on the front door to show everyone where the Minnie Mouse Party is!

For going home, you can give each kid a filled party bag. We recommend you to use a Minnie Mouse party bag filled with jewellery, stickers, bubbles and sweets. Otherwise, you can get a colour party box or colour party paper bag and fill it with small toys and sweets.
